Blackwater and Bradwell

My Mum has moved to a new house in St Lawrence Bay on the south side of the Blackwater Estuary in Essex. We went to visit today (it is a remote part of the Dengie peninsula), had lunch in what locals called a 'bistro' pub in Maylandsea, and later walked down to the St Lawrence Bay riverside. Looking east, Bradwell nuclear power station (being decommissioned) dominates the horizon.
