Skerryvore

2013 ended with a trip to Livingston to see Skerryvore on the recommendation of a friend. I blipped it on 27th Dec 2013! At that gig there was a flier for a Skerryvore gig at Celtic Connections in January...so me and Mr V booked tickets straight away as we enjoyed the gig so much.  At the gig in January (a wild affair with lots of boozy islanders) they told us about Tiree Music Festival which the band organise. Mr V and I thought that looked good so bought tickets to that when they went on sale.

In July we pitched up in Tiree and I had the best weekend of my life. Little did we know that our lives were already changing....and that that Skerryvore gig would be the last of my boozy, dram filled nights ( for a wee while at least).

So ending the year with a Skerryvore gig, back in Livingston, with the same friends is nice and symmetrical!
