Final Cotswolds Day

First stop was Lower Slaughter. Despite the early hour it was already humming with fellow tourists. It must be hell in the high season. A chocolate box village with lots of houses showing drawn blinds - holiday homes maybe?
On then to Cirencester. Some shopping in Waitrose where we had met fellow Blipper 1p Trader and her husband on arrival day. We followed their advice again and explored the backstreets and alleyways behind the Parish Church and spent a happy hour in the excellent museum.
After lunch we set off for home and screwed our eyes into the bright low sun the whole way.
A lovely trip enjoying a wonderful window of weather.
