Morning

After some days of cold and rain, this morning was cold and clear. My car reported it was 2.5 degrees C, and thought it necessary to add the icicle symbol. I have never quite worked out that icicle symbol.

It was nice taking a slower morning, and being home in daylight. The inlet always looks so beautiful - rain or shine - and makes me smile and feel glad I am privileged to live in such a beautiful place.

Being home in the morning light makes up for not being home until it is dark. That is a consequence of winter (shorter days) and lots of work to do (longer days). Luckily I love my work.
