Sitta Canadensis

This Red Breasted Nuthatch was the first visitor to the new seed wreath that we hung yesterday.  It always takes a while for the birds to try new feeders but once they find this, I'm sure it won't last long.  It's got all kinds of fruit and nuts and seeds. :-)  I shot this through the window again because it was way too cold to be outside, -1F (-18.3C) with a light wind that made the chill even worse. I hope to be able to get back outside tomorrow!
