I love Asian supermarkets

Today I went shopping at Honk Kong market and I found these peanuts. They're Indonesian, but they remind me of the coated peanuts back in the Netherlands. Now I wonder; did we copy those coated peanuts from the Indonesian people, or did they copy them from the Dutch?
