Sad or sulking?

This is Baron.  He is seriously unhappy because N and B went out on the other two horses and left him behind.  

He is still looking longingly after them a good half hour after they'd left.

We've had a great day today.  I acted as 'crew' while the A, H and L rode a part of the Otago Rail Trail.  L had decided was keen to do a part that went though tunnels - good choice on his part as that was the only dry bit.  It hosed down on them for the whole ride - and of course that was also the only rain we've had today.

We came back to Hacienda Gilkison to an afternoon spent art and crafting.  Then headed out to Deep Stream for a swim and to get water. 

A great day.  Thank you to our hosts.  Now we're off for a barbeque dinner and a drink or two to ring in the New Year.
