Endings

This time last year was a rather poignant ending, and here I am feeling like I'm living it over again. I guess understanding the significance of an ending makes one dwell on it more. It's been a hard year, personally, and an awful year in terms of national and global events. Fireworks certainly weren't any celebration of the year that's gone for me, but it was nice to see people out and excited and sharing the night.
