Pudding preparations

The carefully prepared makings for tiramisu puddings - actually this is to be fruitcake tiramisu, which sounded, and looked tempting. This wasn't my culinary effort, but at the home of an expert cake maker - I was there to take the photos for her forthcoming book. The tiramisu was made by her son, and although I did have a chance to sample some, and was very tempted to do so, I didn't - not due to a pre New Year's dietary kick but more a combination of being busy with the camera and also conscious that my beard was in dire need of a trim and trying to eat tiramisu with an overgrown beard is probably not to be attempted in polite company.
