Farewell to the frost!

The forecast was not good for today so while it was still dry and fairly bright I went out .... firstly for petrol and as the garage is not too far from the Heritage Park loch I decided to take a quick visit to my feathered friends.  I was sure that the ice would have melted but there was still a large frozen section in the middle of the loch although it was getting much wetter on the surface.  I managed one or two shots before the wind got up and the rain came down.  Not a good time for a walk!
I put the TV on while I was having a coffee and ended up sobbing into my cup as I watched the end of a film about huskies in the Antarctic ..... I'm such a wimp!
