End of Year Stocktake

Had a walk round this morning looking at the effects of wind, rain, frost and snow in the wake of an unusually mild autumn during which many plants started to come into blossom again. Oh well. The gardening year starts here I'm glad to say. Plant lists, plans, seed packets etc. Here we go. This is a view from the top of the Dell steps with a magnolia Susan on the right which has finally dropped its leaves. Looks like it's setting buds already.
