Horsing around

I was up early and went outside to catch the sunrise. It was really mild and I sat and watched the sky change colour for the last time in 2014.
While I sat a few birds were flitting about. Blackbirds, a dunnock, robins, bluetits and then a goldcrest appeared right in front of me. It was pecking about on the remainder of the buddleia bush.,to dark for a photo though.
Later in the morning the horses had gathered at the bottom of the hill and these two in their lovely contrasting coats were having a play.
The window cleaners came today so I now have clean windows to start the new year, well on the outside anyway.
My Dad is now home after being kept in last night. He does nt feel too well so hopefully he'll feel better after some sleep.

Hope everyone else is having a good evening. Here's a verse and chorus from old traditional song of Scotland usually sang after the bells :

A Guid New Year Tae Ane an Aw'
A guid New Year tae ane an' aw'
An' mony may ye see!
an' durin' aw' the years tae come,
O happy may ye be!
An' may ye ne'er hae cause tae mourn,
Tae sigh or shed a tear!
Tae ane an' aw' ,baith great an' sma',
A hearty, Guid New Year!

Chorus:
A guid New Year to ane an' aw'
  An' mony may ye see,
An' durin' aw' the years tae come,
O happy may ye be.

WISHING YOU ALL THE BEST FOR 2015

I hope everyone
