Happy New Year

Having a quiet drink while granddaughter is fast asleep, hubby has gone to bed as his ankle is throbbing after playing with the granddaughter all day.
The family have rung and they have arrived at Liverpool safely to spend the New Year with friends.
Think I will be going to bed shortly, but will watch the New Year celebrations on TV.
Not so many years ago I wouldn't have believed that I would not be doing something special for New Year. Funny how times change.
