Remembering...

If you follow my journal, blipchums, you'll know my daughter - my only child - moved to London a few weeks ago. I've been missing her terribly. I think about her all the time, remembering the smallest things that make me smile.

She turned up this morning at 07.30, straight off the overnight bus. I've never been so pleased to see anyone, what a wonderful surprise!

After much running around, helping her to prepare for her New Year party, I passed one of Inverclyde's most iconic landmarks and stopped to capture the cross in the fast fading light.

The Free French Memorial was one of my first blips last year, https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3881916 but today's image is quite different.

2015 is going to be a big year for me and I've had mixed feelings as I contemplate my future.

But today, I'm very happy indeed.
