Perspective

2014 was a challenging year and I am relieved to see it come to an end. I will, however, take with me into 2015 the lessons that I have learned and for that I am grateful.  Here are a few of the lessons that I think are worth sharing:

-That we will live to see tomorrow is never a given.

-Success should never be measured in terms of wealth or possessions, but by the quality and character of the relationships that you have built.

-Learning to identify the things that you want versus the things that you need helps you to prioritize your life.

-Material possessions won't last forever, but the memories of wonderful life experiences will.

-When you volunteer your time to help better your community, you wind up getting back so much more than you give.

I am looking forward to fresh start to a New Year and the hope that always comes with a new sunrise lighting up the horizon.  I wish you all a healthy and happy New Year.
