The fern unfurls

This is about the happiest plant in our generally dark, damp yard.
Mum donated it to our cause due to its natural habitat, hoping it'd live longer than many other plants that had tried but failed to survive.
Happily, despite my neglect of not cutting back last years growth, it has started to gracefully unfurl its shiny newness.

In other news Master B and I went feeding ducks this morning, Master B succeeded in stroking a duck, twice, while trotting along behind it. His sense of achievement was palpable!
