In these days of mass produced plastic signage it's good to see a traditional art still in demand. Like many, I'm totally sick of the visual chaos produced using terrible typography on garish perspex!

Pete Witney and his wife Jo run a small signwriting business in Whitby and has added character to the shops, houses, and even vehicles, around town. He's responsible in part for maintaining the historical flavour of the resort.
