Pot bound
Public holiday today so no school and most shops closed (which of course we only remembered when we were.... at the shops). The kids went to a local vide grenier with our neighbours and, despite a very firm instruction to Conor that he was not to come back with a giant cuddly toy dog.... he came back with a giant cuddly toy dog. Apparently the lady begged him to take it and said he could have it free, so he couldn't say no (and I know that in a few years I will be that lady begging people to take the huge collection of giant cuddly toy dogs away...)
Meanwhile, Mr B dug some holes in the garden and filled them with cement for our terrace shelter thing to be attached to in due course and I painted a door. Then the thunder rumbled and the skies opened - signalling the start of a week of wet, cold and windy weather for us.
This morning, when things were slightly brighter but not bright enough for a decent aperture on this, I found this fella in a pot. I hope he found something tasty in there.
