Free spiralling ...

.... New Year's resolution, to do a bit more of that!
We were up before sparrowfart today, not a glimmer from the east as we braved the appalling weather to head for Cork airport, the last of the family on their way home.  We passed hardly a car, I wondered if something had happened that we didn't know about!  All good though for Elvis was in the building when we arrived at the airport - a rather portly taxi driver with pretensions and the most extravagant of quiffs.

On the way home I stopped off at Dunnes store to buy some socks -  Valentine cards are already out!!!!!!

We've had a great time - lots of bracing walks, plenty of silly games, gallons of nourishing soups,  masses of films ( Sherlock Holmes fest taking over from Tom Cruise), most of the Christmas cake,  and a good few laughs. It's very quite now - just a heap of soggy towels and exhausted cats. Phew!
