Counting Down

In the waning minutes of the year we popped the champagne and waited for the ball to drop.  It was a quiet evening at home with just our youngest with us to ring in the New Year.  Our oldest was staying at a friend's.  We exchanged a couple of quick texts with her and then we called it a night without making it 'till1. :)
