It was a homely beginning to the New Year watching tele and looking at blipfoto.
Both Tiffany and Arthur coped heroically with the rockets and various fireworks they could hear from indoors.
I settled down to sleep at 3am and slept peacefully.
Arthur woke me at 7:30am anticipating a tin of cat food, which he received and ate appreciatively.
I returned to sleep then got up and made the Quaker oats.
Today it has rained steadily.
