Happy new year

Since I was a child I always went for a walk on new years morning to pick up some fireworks sticks....... but now I go to this paradise that is just waiting outside my front door :) Its been snowing and there was no wind and it seemed like we were all alone in the world hiking there. 
Loads of snow but the grass and moss is green around the hot springs. We had to be careful not to fall into the springs that are lurking under the ice and mud, they would burn us quite badly if something like that would happen.
