If you go down to the woods today --

You might see this funny face. I think he is winking at you! Corinthian column also spotted it on our walk this afternoon through Cottingley Woods.

Cottingley is renowned for it's fairies too and I wondered if some of them lived here in this little tree house!

The bright green of the beech trees was stunning, almost unbelievably bright as were the fields as we emerged from the dark woods.

We were met by some lovely and unusual sheep -not sure of the breed - very dark but without the white faces of the Herdwick.
