New Year, new start?

However you may view New Year, whether it be a time to reflect and plan, to celebrate or just another day in the calendar, January 1st is as good a day as any to pause and reflect. I was wondering how to rename my journal as it previously had '2014' in the title. I decided on, 'A New Day' as the more I think about the last year, the more I am grateful for each day. Every day is an opportunity to see something new, put right what I messed up the previous day or to look forward to the next one. I am reminded of some words from a well known hymn:

"Great is thy faithfulness, Morning by morning new mercies I see"
