Bad Bromance

Taken in the early hours of the morning, just before we left the hall. If you could see their feet you would notice they are floating several feet off the ground on a cloud of glory and jubilation and their amazingly successful gig. There's no stopping them now...

No one had the energy or inclination to start cleaning up the hall last night so we locked the doors and headed home just before 2am. This meant that with slightly fuzzy heads and queasy stomachs, we had to start the job of clearing up other peoples rubbish and detritus at 10 o'clock this morning. With a willing team of helpers we managed to get the place looking ship shape again, in fact I'm pretty sure we were sweeping and hoovering several years worth of grime, not just the remains of last night.

Neither of us could face cooking today so we headed to the Dog and Duck for a well deserved lunch with the children. It was a nice opportunity to catch up with each other and have a little debriefing about last night.

D and I have been touched by the number of lovely messages we have received about the party. It really does sound like most people had an amazing time. The boys put in such a lot of work and It really paid off. I couldn't be happier for them or more proud.
