up Downs

late night seeing in the New Year. A not too early wake up followed by a quick breakfast and out with friends onto Dunstable Downs to blow away the cobwebs, air the children and fly kites. It was fun watching the little ones holding their own, gleeful in their achievement, kites zipping and buzzing. 
In other news, the DSLR is out of action, fell off the dashboard onto my lap, no focus, suspect lens is damaged.......botheration doesn't begin to cover it.
