a very happy new year to all of you

we three are all sick with a nasty cold and went to bed yesterday at 9.30.
woke up by the fireworks for a bit and then slept until this morning. such a "meh" start into the new year, but we try to cheer ourselves up that things can only get better from here. :)
finally after about 5 weeks of rain and grey days the sun came through today and we went for a short walk. i really missed the light and it was glorious to have the sun shine onto our backs and in our faces for a while. we are still all quite groggy and so it's an early night again. i hope your first day of the new year was great - i will try and blip more regularly again (and backblip my bum off as soon as i find the time).
