This was the scene that I saw at the local lake, which was still, well, mostly frozen!....

The twigs and things on it have been thrown on by people either for fun or in an attempt to break the ice, despite there being no frost last night (more wet and windy), and the temperature generally being a good few degrees above freezing... Obviously not here!
