New Year Dinner

There was a time when New Years Dinner was a bit of an ordeal.  The previous night's festivities would have left a legacy of a fragile stomach and a throbbing headache.  the first resolutions would have come from a resolute wish never to touch alcohol again.  That would have been made safe in the knowledge that resolutions were meant to be broken.

These days I thoroughly look forward to New Years dinner.  This was cooked by Bec and included an excellent meringue desert which either reminded us of a summer passed or made us think of a summer to come.  New Year is like that.
