Light dreams

After a pleasant day mooching round the shops, mostly with younger daughter, while HH spent time with his sister and older daughter, husband and son decided we were much too slow and headed home, I went down to the beach in the evening to try out my new camera. I couldn't persuade anyone else to come out with me, but that was probably just as well, as I was transfixed by the nuances of light and colour as the sun went down in glory and turned a muddy beach into a thing of beauty. As a friend once said, in Brazil we don't have twilight, 'they just turn out the lights'. Here, the process is long and complex and blippers of sunrises and sunsets must find choosing which picture to post a hard task. I guess that's supposing that there is a visible sun to provide the photo ops.
