Chaos comes to Lyme Road

For a couple of days now we have seen a steady increase in activity in Axminster as the road is prepared for re-surfacing. Spray marking and masking up of drain covers etc.
Today, or more accurately, at about rush hour (don't laugh, we do have one) all hell broke loose!
One side of the road covered and a long line of lorries, vans and rollers together with Stop and Go men - appearing to talk to each other by radio, but not listening! With the 'Go' showing in one direction a row of vehicles proceeded down the road to be met with another load of vehicles coming the other way!
