Happy New Year!

I am quite happy that 2015 is here : ) 

Today I went out into the cold weather for what I thought would be at most an hour of photographing. Well, five hours and several hundred photos later I finally came home. My car was near the area where I was photographing, so a few times I did go back to my car to warm up.

I took oh so many photos of ducks and Canada geese! The biggest photography thrill today, though, was taking photos of this water fall. I like this photo, but it cannot come close to the actual experience of listening to, viewing, and feeling the energy of this water fall. Fortunately it is just a 3 mile drive from my apartment : )
