Eeew

This spider was lurking just outside my front door this morning. I put the bottle cap beside her (as close as I dared to get) so you can see how big she is. She appeared to be having a little post-coital snack -- i.e., eating her mate. Just one of the reasons that spiders creep me out. Yes, I know they are useful and clever etc etc; but still: **shudder**.
