January Challenge: Rough

Today was bright but chilly, and there was still a little snow on the western mountains this morning when I got up. A leisurely day since it is a holiday. Even managed to take a nap in the early afternoon. Went for a late afternoon walk in some brisk air, looking for suitable subjects for chantler63's January challenge. I like the golden highlights on this rough section of eucalyptus bark. A beautiful sunset as well, but I'm trying to keep on topic!
For this New Year my goal is to take a little action to accomplish the items on my list each day. Even if I know I can't finish, at least I can start. Hope this lets me feel a greater sense of accomplishment.
