People have strange ideas and misconceptions of what being an adult doll collector is. No, this is not a Barbie. This is a Fashion Royalty doll. Her name is Veronique. She was designed by Jason Wu, of the Michelle Obama gown fame. When we "play" with our dolls, it usually involves more than just changing their clothes. We build movie sets for them. We spend serious money clothing them. We take them on the road, like that Traveling Gnome, and show our collector friends where we live. For some of us, this "play" eases the stress of our day-to-day, allowing us to step into a dream of another existence, another time.
