New Year with new friends

After the usual beach day we head for dinner with Anton and Sara (in the photo).  They are the German couple we met on the way to the Island and we've bumped into them nearly every day.  After dinner we head to Joy's Cottage to meet some people they've been on a boat trip with for a couple of drinks.

They then head down to the Nature Bar on the beach and we head to the Whiskey Bar.  Jean Michele and Fernando have left already as they have an early start tomorrow but we welcome the new year in with Nim and the others in the bar.  Anton and Sara then come by and find us and we end up having a pretty late night.  Fun though!  The Ting Tong Bar, which is the noisy, party bar is advertising a 48 hour new year party so no point trying to go to bed too early anyway!

Freddie comes home with the Chilli Garden (Whiskey Bar) hat which Nim has given to her ... another hat to carry around on our travels!
