I guess many will take today off work but some, like my daughter, need to drag themselves back into the habit of the daily commute into London.

This is the old farmer's bridge just south of Chelsfield Station which is on the Hastings to London line. The bridge has long been cut off by fencing which doesn't always keep idol hands out.

The commuters face higher fares, long term London Bridge closures, engineering works and leaves on the line.

2015 will not be fun for some...
