Happy Chappie
Kept me entertained this afternoon - he had a good feed of cherry plums then flew into the climbing rose and announced his joy to the world.! The Eurasian Blackbird was introduced here in the 1860's and is now thought to be the most widely distributed bird in New Zealand, This fellow is all fluffy looking so may be moulting...with plums ripe and elderberries ripening there are many of them in the trees....great dawn chorus at the moment.
