Next Day after New Years Day

It warmed up today and hit around 34C at 2pm. Tomorrow is forecast to be warmer again and may hit 40C.  It was a good job that we got up early and started the day with another trip to the beach. All the remnants of New Year's Eve celebrations have now been removed and it was a much cooler and cloudier start to the day. We had promised ourselves that we would have breakfast "out" this week and we did so this morning after walking the lad.  He was happy to meet and great as we sat and munched on banana bread and fruit toast, which was washed down with two cappuccinos. A run around the pool this afternoon chasing a ball and trying to catch water splashes meant that a later walk in the day was not required.
