Chester cathedral

We spent the day in Chester shopping; the boys had Christmas money and gift cards to spend and we thought we'd take the opportunity to visit Chester Cathedral while we were there.

Having never been before, I was struck by its size and complexity and tranquillity - and what a sense of well-being it evokes, even in an atheist like me.
