On the road home

Every Friday we drive to Lampeter, about 30 minutes away, to shop and visit the library.  Our drive takes us up and down dale over winding country roads, through beautiful scenery - especially so today as the sun was shining. At the summit of the highest hill we pass over we were surprised to see this little horse-drawn buggy (for want of a better word).  Luckily I had my camera on my knee and was able to take a quick snap through the car windshield.  For me, this typifies the quiet country life we are lucky enough to be able to enjoy in our retirement.
