New Years Eve

We decided to do something different for New Year and went to the Viennese New Years Concert at the Brighton Dome.  Needless to say, lots of Strauss.  The soloist was Susana Gaspar, a Portuguese soprano.  It was a very pleasant afternoon.  We ate at Carluccio's and discovered, after looking up the route on my iphone while waiting for the bill, that the Dome was actually visible from where we were sitting.
