Pass from the Past

This is a classic from a bygone era. At the turn of the century there were several Wood Mills that processed trees that were cut around Lake Whatcom. In fact, they cut almost all the old growth. The mills closed in the 20's mostly becuase all the trees were gone. There was a rail system from the lake to the bay. This is one of the biggest remaining reminders of that time. I will take a few more blips so you can see the pieces of this system.
