Weekend away

Set off this morning at 6.00 for Sygariya with a stop of at the rock temple of Dambulla.
Sygariya was again amazing we had a guide but I had to ask the guide to stop his friends helping me up the steps ther e were about four of them and one started pushing my ass up the steps and at the top they would have asked for a tip - so I managed it on my own - some of the very rickety steps we climbed in 2005 have been replaced by stone steps but some of the open metal steps are still a bit hairy. On to Aduradupora where our driver had booked the seven of us into a family room without a/c and cold water shower.
