The Deer Stalker!

Well day one following my New Years resolution, so thought I should start as I mean to go on!

We drove across to Cheshire, Tatton Park to be precise, as we fancied a long walk to blow away some cobwebs! Me and hub have both got a bit of a lurgy hanging over us, tickly throat and a few sniffles, but don't feel too bad, so we thought a good dose of fresh air would do the trick. Of course the other reason was so I could get the camera out :-)

I took lots of shots, was really pleased with a good half dozen or so, this is probably not the best of them, but I do love it because of the subjects......the first time I've had a chance to photograph deer! I did feel like a stalker, circling around from behind, downwind, so as not to spook them! I would have liked to get a bit closer but as it was, I was hiding behind the tree closest to them. I think a stronger zoom lens might be on my birthday present list ;-)

I'm already thinking about where I can go tomorrow!
