La Siesta!

Something very strange to us in the UK but a daily part of life here in Spain. This was around 4.00pm this afternoon in downtown Altea and there is hardly anyone about!  Yes you can still get a coffee or a beer and also the supermarkets are open but the rest of the "world" is having a break until 5.00pm when it all gets going again sometimes up to 9.00pm at night.  It's a great tradition - long may it last.... (PS you also get free parking during the Siesta - brilliant idea..)
