New years meal

Martin was out yesterday so we decided to have roast chicken with all the trimmings for tea tonight to celebrate the New Year. The kids have been hyper all day and we needed to get out for a change of scenery so we had a Subway lunch then a browse round the Tesco clothes and toy sale. I got new furry boots so quite pleased with our outing. We had planned to come back and play in the garden but after a lovely morning, by the time we finished our shopping, the sleet was covering everything, so home for a movie while we organised tea. It was well received and Rhona even tried (and spat out) a sprout. Early beds planned for two tired and grumpy kids.
