Mr S was 'missing in action' today.  At least he was with us in body ! Too many late nights??

A few snow showers today, the girls were excited but then it came to nothing.

I tried to get them to come with me for a walk along the beach, but as No 1 pointed out - every year I drag them screaming and kicking to a beach on 2nd January.  It's brain numbingly cold and we all fall out with one another.  Fair point.  I went on my own.

A bracing walk along Porty Beach, surrounded by little kids on new bikes, playful dogs and a lot of people in woolly hats of various designs. I'll need to get the knitting needles out !

May head out to the cinema shortly, but at the moment I'm watching 'Little Women' and I have the room all to myself !
