Snow above the glen

In the fading light of this afternoon (the sun had set behind the hills just as we parked the car) the hills above Glen Massan, with their powdering of snow, looked almost as impressive as the Three Sisters that loom over Glencoe. Given that the floor of Glencoe must be about 1000' higher than that of Glen Massan, the contrast, after all, cannot be too hugely different.

Another walk where we were alternately battered by hailstones or soaked by rain of varying intensity but felt better by the end of it. Rather like stopping battering your head off a brick wall ...
