Keeping Warm

One wouldn't think a wool hat would be needed in southern Mexico, but altitude makes a big difference in temperature. We are preparing for a weekend hike in the mountains, so I knitted us each a hat. On the hike a few weeks ago it rained, so we all got wet, and it was cold (36F)! Sometimes a hood just doesn't cut it.
